Carre Armstrong Gardner
Carre Armstrong Gardner has always had a compulsive love for words. As a child, she read anything she could find, from the backs of the shampoo bottles in the bathtub to the ingredient lists on the cereal boxes at breakfast.
She is a former worker with children-at-risk in Russia, an experience that taught her how difficult it is to learn a new language. Now, she volunteers teaching English as a Second Language to young people in Eastern European countries. She lives in Portland, ME with her husband, three teenagers and two rescue dogs, and works as a Registered Nurse at a local hospital.
Carre's passion as a writer is to tell stories that give women permission to be real, and realize that God is big enough to be the answer to even their messiest problems. Her first fiction series, The Darlings, includes All Right Here (Tyndale, 2014,) Better All the Time (Tyndale, 2015,) and They Danced On (Tyndale 2016).
