David Thomas

David Thomas, LMSW, received his master’s degree from the University of Tennessee.

He joined the staff at Daystar Counseling Ministries in middle Tennessee in 1997 as the director of family counseling.  Daystar aids over 1,300 families and is the most sought-after and respected counseling group for children, adolescents and families in its community.

David has authored five books: Wild Things:The Art of Nurturing Boys; Becoming a Dad; How to Hit a Curve Ball; Yup Nope Maybe; and Does this Dress Make Me Look Fat, all with cowriter Stephen James.

He is a frequent guest on national television and radio, including Moody Midday Connection and the Chat with Priscilla Shirer, and has a monthly column with ParentLife magazine. He and his wife, Connie, have a daughter and three wild things (twin sons and a feisty yellow lab puppy named Owen).
