Aubrey Sampson

Aubrey Sampson is passionate about empowering women of all ages to experience freedom from shame through the love of Jesus. Aubrey is a creative storyteller and teacher who uses vulnerability to inspire women that God transforms our ugliest moments into ones of beauty.

Growing up in Oklahoma City, Aubrey came to know Christ after hearing Elvis Presley’s stepbrother speak about being touched by two kings – the king of rock and roll and the King, Jesus. The Lord used his story (and it was as eccentric as it sounds) to draw Aubrey to Himself. She and her husband, Kevin, live and minister in the Chicago area with their three hilarious sons. In her spare time, Aubrey attempts (and often flails around like a crazy woman) to balance mentoring, ministry, and mommyhood. She enjoys reading everything from Sophie Kinsella to ancient commentaries on Scripture, and still has a special affinity for Elvis.

Aubrey's first book, Overcomer: Breaking Down the Walls of Shame and Rebuilding Your Soul, was published by Zondervan in October 2015, and her second, The Louder Song: Listening for Hope in the Midst of Lament by NavPress in February ‘2019.
