Nate Pyle

Nate Pyle is the lead pastor of Christ's Community Church in Fishers, Indiana where he lives with his wife, Sarah, and son, Luke. Never imagining himself to be a writer, Nate started blogging to get clarity around his own thinking. The blog took a life of its own, and in September of 2013 received over 2 millions visits alone, due in large part to his "Seeing a Woman" post which has been featured on The Huffington Post, The Deseret News, and the Goodman Project.

Nate is a graduate of Hope College in Holland, Michigan where he majored in chemistry. He received his Masters of Divinity from Western Theological Seminary which is also located in Holland. Before becoming a lead pastor, Nate served as a youth pastor and Young Life volunteer. Currently, he is also serving as a speaker/facilitator in a joint effort of revitalizing churches and missional engagement in the Reformed Church of America and the Christian Reformed Church.

Nate’s first book, Man Enough: How Jesus Redefines Manhood, was published by Zondervan in September 2015. In his second book, More Than You Can Handle: When Life’s Overwhelming Pain meets God’s Overcoming Grace (March ‘2019, Zondervan), Nate weaves together his own story, the stories of others, and a powerful look at the life of Jesus. He offers a fresh and timely response to the pain we each experience. And he reminds us, the only thing more overwhelming than the pain of life is the love of a God who walks with us through that pain.
